Margaret’s Story

live in Kasese and belong to the St Peter’s Womens’ microfinance group. I am a tailor. I took out a loan from the group and bought cloth from Congo Called Vitengi.

I design and make clothes which people buy. I paid back the loan and bought more cloth. After 3 loans I didn’t need to borrow any more. I have a shop in Nyakasanga, Kasese.

I sell most clothes at Christmas, Easter and  festival times and when the farmers harvest their coffee in April.
