Women of Hope
This was the moment Miriam met with the Women of Hope, in October 2025, to tell them they were to be the next trainees in hairdressing and tailoring

In February 2026 these women completed their training..... however we had to send them home without starter kits because the funding had run out. They will graduate properly when these kits can be bought and we continue to seek ways to raise the funding.
£642 is needed to kit out 3 hairdressers and 2 tailors and provide 3 months rent for a room to start a small business.
Miriam continues to meet in fellowship, with the women of Hope in Customs, whether they have had training or not.
cohort 4 finished training with no start up kits.
Miriam should receive £50 per month to look after the Women of Hope-sometimes she doesn't get enough but still gives up her time.
Impact:
Not one woman who has had training and has received a starter kit has returned to life on the streets.

Previous trainees now working.
One of the girls from the second group of trainees has been brave enough to return to her home village of Rugendabara
